 Worried
« Thread Started on Apr 1, 2007, 3:55am »

Lidiah slowly walked through the park. She looked tired and worn out. It was mainly due to all the crying she had be doing. After her last big fight with Stephen he took off and she hadn't heard from him since. It had been two weeks and still she got nothing from him.

She had called every hospital within 2 hours of every direction. She called his cell phone at least twice a day but it always went to voice mail. She needed him to answer for her. She needed to know that he was OK.

Lidiah sat down and looked at the swings. She thought things were going to be different. That things were going to work out. How could she have been so stupid as to trust that he was going to be there for her. Here she was seven months pregnant and he was who knows where doing who knows what. You figure he would care enough to let her know that he is OK, or to even just see how she was doing.

Lidiah felt a tear run down the side of her face. He wasn't there when she finally went to find out what she was having. He should have been there. It should have been a joyous moment for both of them. Instead of a heartbreaking moment, when all signs pointed to being a lonely, heartbroken, single mother.

Would he ever get the chance to know that they were, or should she say that she was having...a girl.

(Hope you don't mind if I join)

Erik was slowly walking through the park his blind eyes forever vacant behind the dark glasses. His cane tapping against the ground as he used it to navigate. He'd let his adoptive father know where he was going, that way at least then if it grew too late someone knew where he'd be. He didn't like worrying his father afterall. Yes that's how Erik counted the person who cared for him... his father.

Lidiah felt the tears fall harder down the side of her face. Wierdly enough it was actually calming to be crying again. Crying seemed to make everything seem better. Like as soon as the tears were done, everything was going to be OK again. It never really worked out that way but it still felt like that is the way it is going to be.

Lidiah gave the park a once over to make sure she wasn't crying in front of a million people. That is when she saw the kid from the mall she met a while back. She could still cry she thought, being as he was blind and really wouldn't notice that she was crying like a baby.
